CYCLES OF LIFE

CYCLES OF LIFE is a photographic (but above all creative) project, which follows the course of a year. During this time I (re)learnt how to pause and look at the trees, admire their shape, sometimes find human expressions in them, and love them.

Waking up early, enjoying the calm of a park or the countryside, listening to the sound of silence and, more importantly, taking time.

I talked to some of them, hugged others, and thanked all these trees for their presence and posing for my photos.

During twelve months, Nature seemed to be reborn, explode with life and fall asleep again and this inevitably reminded me
of our passage on earth.

In the beginning, there was renewal…

Again, Nature slowly awakens to life, a magic moment of genesis.

Then, at their highest, sunbeams enlighten an innocent youth.

Time marks its passage with beautiful colours – a sign of wisdom.

Eventually, there comes time for rest and soothing slumber.

In the end, there is always renewal…
